On April 29, National Carbon Market Prices Fell by 0.25%, with Total Carbon Emission Allowance Transactions Reaching 465,543 mt [Daily Trading Report]

April 29 News:

Today's comprehensive price quotation for China's national carbon market is as follows: opening price at 73.03 yuan/mt, highest price at 73.03 yuan/mt, lowest price at 72.93 yuan/mt, and closing price at 72.99 yuan/mt, representing a 0.25% decrease from the previous day.

Today, the trading volume under the listing agreement was 15,543 mt, with a turnover of 1,131,134.00 yuan; the trading volume under the block agreement was 450,000 mt, with a turnover of 33,139,500.00 yuan.

Today, the total trading volume of national carbon emission allowances was 465,543 mt, with a total turnover of 34,270,634.00 yuan.

From January 1 to April 29, 2025, the trading volume of national carbon emission allowances in the national carbon market was 11,551,048 mt, with a turnover of 960,266,415.97 yuan.

As of April 29, 2025, the cumulative trading volume of national carbon emission allowances in the national carbon market was 641,819,712 mt, with a cumulative turnover of 43,992,993,519.48 yuan.

Prior to the establishment of the national carbon emissions trading institution, the national carbon emissions trading information is released and supervised by the Shanghai Environment & Energy Exchange Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Exchange").

Except for the national carbon emissions trading information publicly disclosed by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, no other institution or individual is allowed to publish public information such as the comprehensive price quotation of the national carbon market and the trading status of carbon emission allowances for each year without the consent of the Exchange. If reprinting is necessary, the source must be indicated. The Exchange has the right to pursue legal liability against any institution or individual that unlawfully publishes or republishes without indicating the source, or republishes national carbon emissions trading information not released by the Exchange.
